We use the Webster technique in our office
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is facilitated.
Sacral subluxation may contribute to difficult labor for the mother (i.e., dystocia), caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and baby mal-presentation. Correction of sacral subluxation may have a positive effect on all of these causes of dystocia.
The Webster Technique has become a familiar term in the pregnancy and birth conversation. Families are seeking out chiropractors who are proficient in this technique as a way to support a more comfortable, safer, and easier birth.
ONE RESEARCH STUDY REPORTS THAT NEW MUMS EXPERIENCE ON AVERAGE A 25% REDUCTION IN THE LENGTH OF LABOUR TIME WITH CHIROPRACTIC CARE DURING PREGNANCY AND THAT RISES TO A 31% REDUCTION FOR MOTHERS WHO HAVE GIVEN BIRTH BEFORE.
It makes sense to keep yourself as healthy as possible during your pregnancy. So, if you want help with the way your spine and nervous system are functioning, consider seeing your chiropractor, because it’s natural, safe, and may help you to feel better and boost your chances of having a faster, easier delivery of your little bundle of joy.
